Any changes to the scope of work or pricing will be communicated and approved by the client before proceeding. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your project contract. We typically require a deposit before beginning work, with the balance due upon completion. We accept various forms of payment as specified in your contract. Failure to pay according to agreed terms may result in a lien being placed on your property as permitted by California law. All prices are in U.S. dollars.

5. Project Timelines

We provide estimated project timelines based on normal working conditions. Actual completion dates may be affected by weather, material availability, unforeseen site conditions, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any delays promptly and work diligently to complete your project as quickly as possible while maintaining our quality standards.

6. Client Responsibilities

You must provide clear access to work areas and ensure pets and children are kept away from active work zones. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary HOA approvals before work begins. Any damage to underground utilities not properly marked by appropriate agencies is not the responsibility of VLM Visalia Masonry.

7. Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship and provide warranties as specified in your project contract. Warranties cover defects in our workmanship but do not cover damage from accidents, misuse, normal wear and tear, or acts of nature. Material warranties are provided by manufacturers and are subject to their terms and conditions. To maintain warranty coverage, you must follow any maintenance recommendations we provide.

8. Limitation of Liability

VLM Visalia Masonry maintains appropriate insurance coverage for our operations. Our liability is limited to the contract price of the specific services provided. We are not responsible for consequential or incidental damages. In the event of a dispute, our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services in question.

If work is required to bring existing structures up to current code, this will be discussed and must be approved before proceeding.

10. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has begun may be subject to fees to cover costs already incurred. Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your project contract.
